What is Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology (AK ) is a treatment that uses muscle testing to evaluate imbalances in the body’s structural, chemical, and emotional energies. These imbalances can be caused by physical injuries, negative thoughts and emotions, or dietary and environmental factors.
Our Applied Kinesiology practitioners use a range of techniques, including acupuncture, nutrition, and emotional release, to restore balance and improve overall health and wellbeing.
Applied Kinesiology works by using the body’s natural healing abilities to address imbalances and promote overall health. By identifying and correcting these imbalances, Applied Kinesiology can help to improve a range of physical and emotional symptoms, including:
- Chronic pain
- Stress and anxiety
- Digestive issues
- Hormonal imbalances
- Sleep disorders
- Allergies
- Fatigue
What Does an Applied Kinesiology Consultation Entail?
During an Applied Kinesiology consultation, your practitioner will ask you questions about your medical history, diet, and lifestyle to get a better understanding of any imbalances in your body. They’ll also perform muscle testing, which involves applying gentle pressure to specific muscle groups to assess their strength and balance.
Your practitioner will help address and clear these issues, and will develop a treatment plan to address any imbalances and help you achieve the emotional, physical or nutritional state that you want to work towards, or move away from.
